Tamara advises UK and international clients involved in art and luxury asset disputes and commercial dealings. Her clients include art collectors, dealers and advisors; artists; trusts and foundations; major galleries; and high net-worth individuals.
Tamara has gained broad experience in the litigation and advisory practice areas of the Art & Luxury team at Wedlake Bell. She works closely with both Tim Maxwell and Rudy Capildeo (co-leaders of the Art & Luxury team). Her practice mainly focuses on litigation, and she is currently acting on disputes with sellers, buyers, agents, auction houses and other intermediaries. She has experience in disputes involving misattribution, conversion, authenticity, disputed ownership, breach of contract, insurance, professional negligence, and artist’s resale rights.
Tamara’s advisory work includes the application of the anti-money laundering and proceeds of crime legislation, and the application of various sanctions regimes to art market transactions.
She has a Diploma in Art Law from the Institute of Art & Law.
